What sort of profile are we looking for?

A typical Edge associate will have most of the attributes listed below:

• A good first degree in mathematics, science or engineering.
• Ten plus years of relevant experience, working in IT for vendors, consultancies or end users.
• Hands-on skills with current BI tools and techniques.
• Experience of design and implementation of large-scale data warehouse projects.
• Current knowledge of the telecommunications, finance or retail industries.
• Specialist practical experience of tools such as SAS, Business Objects, Hyperion, or data mining techniques.
• Familiarity with database products such as ORACLE, SQL Server, Teradata or DB2, and associated ETL tools.
• A track record of successfully delivering large projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A proven self-starter, able to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
