Edge Associates was formed in 2001 as a strategic consulting and investment business, operating in the field of leading-edge information technology, and more recently as a systems integrator specialising in data warehousing implementations. The company offers a wide range of knowledge and skills in the enterprise systems and software community. This is underpinned by a wealth of business management experience, which includes starting and growing US businesses in Europe - Gartner Group and Teradata.
Edge Associates provides clients with the skills they need to successfully integrate new technologies, based on many man-years of experience. A typical Edge consultant has at least ten years experience in the industry, specialising in data warehouse implementation, and data migration in industry sectors such as retail, telecommunications, and finance, with particular focus on the use of parallel data processing and database technologies.
In 2005, Edge Associates signed a Systems Integrator agreement with Netezza Corporation to work with their industry-leading data warehouse appliance products. This partnership enables Edge to offer leading edge data warehousing, business intelligence, and data analysis services to our clients.
In 2007, Edge Associates were accepted as members of the Netezza Developers Network (NDN), and are now actively developing streaming analytic applications using an in-house Netezza SPUBox, including the recently-announced ECLIPSE compaibility library.
